ICAVL Accreditation Made Easy
Meeting non-invasive vascular laboratory accreditation standards is hard work and can be expensive. Many labs no longer submit handwritten applications. However, even with an e-application, it takes dozens if not hundreds of hours to collect and summarize study and correlation data.

For first time or re-accreditation applications, TRAKnet Lab software offers an easy solution. Its direct download to the ICAVL Electronic Application eliminates most of the tedious work and eliminates mistakes that can be made in transcribing data.

“It’s hard to say, but we must have saved at least 150 hours using TRAKnet Lab in completing our accreditation electronic application.”
KEN MUDD, VASCULAR LAB
Murfreesboro, TN

TRAKnet Lab meets the needs of all users, whether they are in single, multi-user, networked or integrated workstations. BioMedix has proven experience in Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology integration. No matter how good a database is, it is critical to have solutions that integrate with existing devices and systems architecture—and TRAKnet Lab does.

Intuitive navigation supports existing standards for seamless systems integration.

  • MS SQL server provides security and flexibility for future growth.

  • HL7 (Health Level Seven) interface transmits clinical and administrative data between TRAKnet and the facility EMR systems.

  • DICOM Print interface allows automatic transmission of preliminary or final reports directly to a PACS system via networks and IP addresses.

  • Structured reporting (DICOM SR) enables import of velocity and measurement data from Duplex Imaging systems directly into TRAKnet Lab.

TESTIMONIALS

“At the touch of a button, all of our Imager (LOGIQ 9) data is transferred to the TRAKnet Lab  software and automatically fills the database fields. That saves at least five to ten minutes, depending on the type of exam, and in the context of a busy lab, that is significant. In our Lab, a savings of five minutes for 10,000 exams per year equates to a 36-day time savings.”
BILL ZANG BS, RVT, RDMS, FORMER LAB TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA

“Our Lab does about 15-20 physiologic studies per week, and the automatic transfer of those studies to TRAKnet Lab along with our carotid imaging studies (directly from our GE LOGIQ series imager) has made our Lab much more efficient - especially when it comes to filing accreditation reports–it’s a big time saver.”
